Programmer

 

Responsibilities:

  • Working with our Content Management System to create dynamic websites using scripting languages.
  • Website development, implementation and maintenance.
  • Website enhancements or customization.
  • Being able to code, work independently and meet deadlines.

 

Requirements:

Your qualifications and experience

  • We are looking for someone talented with 2+ years of relevant development experience. Fresh graduates with 1st Class degrees or above and demonstratable web development knowledge can apply.
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • You will have worked in a similar role previously. (Desirable)
  • Experience working for similar types of organisation. (Desirable)

 

Your skills

  • You should have good practical experience developing web sites and web based applications in any modern scripting language e.g. PHP, ASP or ASP.NET.
  • Knowledge of XHTML, using CSS for table free page layouts would be beneficial. (Desirable)
  • Understanding of Javascript and frameworks such as JQuery (Desirable)
  • You must understand object oriented development techniques. (Essential)
  • You must have a good understanding of databases: MySQL or MSSQL.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with all the leading database platforms.
  • You will have ongoing developer training and certification opportunities in various technologies.

  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
